During a business trip to São Paulo, I was able to meet with a successful Cosmetic professional. For 5 years and a half, Renata PAGLIARUSSI, LUSH Brazil General Director, has been building the brand in her country.
Her degree in communication and business linked to a pharmacist and science diplomas allow her to have a 360° vision. Today, as a key Manager within the company, she is able to oversea the training, sales and manufacture department. This unit located 60 km away from São Paulo employs 160 persons and requests a “flawless execution”. Very supportive with her team, she was able to open 5 stores in the country, hoping to open some extra ones soon. The 3rd worldwide largest Spa and shop is based in São Paulo where the high-end clientele walks everyday to find the best shopping, on Rua Oscar Freire.
“But LUSH is all about green and ethical values, aimed to share our voice” reports Renata PAGLIARUSSI. “We are a learning company” , always in search of new educational solutions. This could open new solutions soon. Clients are welcome with a specific methodology. It’s all about clients needs. What do they do in their bathroom on a daily basis to understand their deep routine’s needs?
The communication requests to be creative and dynamique at the brand’s image. Connected to the UK headquarter, the General Director travels quite often to meet with the rest of the team.
Months to come will be busy with new SKU, Father’s day, seasonal products and Christmas. The clientele’s age has no limit, 80% of them are female.
My first visit at this Lush Spa store was conducted by one of their employe, José. I mentioned that I was a Cosmetic Consultant and he decided to give me a full tour. I was able to discover all store levels and more specially the spa treatment rooms. Each detail is well put together, essential oils on “kitchen table” , the lovely rocking chair on the waiting area,…
Wishing you all the best for giving more space to this brand in this lively country.
